Additional Casts on The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games is set to be one of the most awaited flicks that are set to be released next year. The upcoming science fiction film is based on the novel of the same title written by Suzanne Collins. The young adult book, which was in Publishers Weekly’s Best Books of the Year list and a New York Times Notable Children’s Book of 2008, is the first installment of the Hunger Games trilogy, followed by Catching Fire in 2009, and Mockingjay in 2010. After its success, Lionsgate Entertainment has bought the rights to bring the book to the big screen.

The studio is busy rounding up the cast to bring life to the characters of the book. The casting coup has been working for months to choose the perfect actors to play the roles. And now, a few more names have been chosen to be part of the cast. Toby Jones, Amber Chaney, Nelson Ascencio, and Kimiko Gelman are relatively unknown actors that are set to explode when the film gets released next year. Their names were revealed by Lionsgate on their official twitter account. Jones, who is probably best known for voicing Dobby the house elf on the Harry Potter series and channeling Truman Capote in Infamous, will be joining the cast as the bombastic arena announcer Claudius Templesmith. Chaney, who appeared in several TV shows like Meet the Browns and Somebodies, will have a non-speaking role Avox Girl. Ascencio, who worked as an actor and writer on the defunct comedy show MadTV, will be playing the tender-hearted member of the prep team for Katniss Everdeen. And Gelman will also be playing another member of Katniss’ prep team named Venia. Gelman has been previously on several TV shows like Rags to Riches, The West Wing, and Beverly Hills 90210.

First Breaking Dawn Teaser Poster Released!

I am a huge fan of the Twilight movie franchise and have watched all the films on the theaters at the very first day of their showing together with my friends who are also twihards. The last film of the movie series will hit the theaters this November and since last year, we have been scavenging the web for the latest news about the upcoming movie.

The film is divided into two parts and Breaking Dawn part 1 is set for release this November. While browsing the web the other day, I happen upon a movie site and was shocked when I saw something that looks like a poster of a Twilight movie but something that I have never seen before.

I was so happy when it was the latest Breaking Dawn poster all along! Hooray! Now all I need is the Breaking Dawn trailer that is scheduled for release on the 2011 MTV movie awards! Woohoo!

First Look on Bane on The Dark Knight Rises

The Dark Knight Rises is the third and final installment of the Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The movie is still more than a year before it gets released in theaters, but now, Warner Bros. has released a brand new promotional photo that features one of the villains set to make the life of the Caped Crusader into a living hell. The official image features Batman’s main nemesis, Bane, who is one of the superheroes’ most powerful, intellectually and physically, enemies. The character is best known for breaking the back of Batman, leaving him paraplegic in the bat cave in the comic book series.
